More About Ernie
Ernie Porter is the owner and operator of Help Restoration Inc. Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, he takes great pride to serve the community he once grew up in with quality roofing, siding, and seamless guttering services.
Ernie grew up around construction and was taught several things from his father and his involvement in building trades and vocational school during the last two years of high school. After graduating, Ernie enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served his country in South Carolina for 4 years. It was during this time of life where he learned valuable lessons about timeliness, punctuality, and organization. He may not be in the Air Force any longer, but the lessons, skills, and character that was pounded into him has never left.
After leaving the Air Force he spent several years owning and operating various businesses both in Indiana and South Carolina before starting Help Restoration Inc. in 2014. Since that time he has been growing at a rapid pace, has bought out other gutter businesses, and has streamlined into a leading roofing, siding, and gutter service in the greater Bloomington Indiana region.
